This kind of storytelling makes other tech entrepreneurs just feel extra bad about themselves. They didnt build all that in 2 hours — they converted the project from using GPT-2 to GPT-3 in 2 hours. They’re super smart, for sure, but they’re not super human — they spent a lot of time on the original version in order to attract funding. Distasteful.
